Roodnoot

Roodnoot was founded in 2018 during the hot summer as an homage to the adjacent farm of the same name. The frontman was inspired to write an EP while spending some time there that summer because of its openness and freedom.

The frontman was inspired to write an EP while spending time at the Roodnoot arts farm that summer because of its openness and independence. Their most recent EP, Roodnoot EP, was made available at the end of 2019. Throughout the EP, pop, and folk are blended and dynamically varied. Along with his seasoned band, Roodnoot creates an intimate, authentic, and alluring performance that draws you into their world of vivid hues, subtle emotions, and true stories. Following the EP's release, they supported the Dutch/Icelandic singer-songwriter Helge in a sold-out show. In 2023, Roodnoot released the EP 'When All Is Said And Done', which was met with cross-platform support, with the single 'What's Wrong' (featuring Géonne Hartman) featuring in Spotify's ' 'T Koffiehuis ', approaching a 150.000 streams cross-platform.
