Rosa Butsi

Rosa Butsi is the Soundtrack winner of 2020 and artist in residence pop hall Het Depot. She inherited her musical genes from her Hungarian grandmother, whose name can perfectly function as a fitting alter ego.

A recipient of the prestigious Soundtrack 2020 award and an artist in residence at Het Depot (BE), Rosa's journey is a testament to her musical prowess. From sharing stages with acclaimed artists like Black Sea Dahu, Douglas Firs, and Gabriel Rios (Also band member), Rosa Butsi's presence is felt deeply in the musical landscape. Her poignant storytelling finds expression in every note, evoking emotions that linger long after the last chord fades. Supported by press & radio in Belgium, Rosa Butsi's music transcends boundaries, and resonating across various digital platforms. Joined by the talented Trui Amerlinck on bass and rhythmic Jordi Geuens on drums, her harmonies are a testament to the symphonic beauty within her compositions. Her singles weave intricate tales, from the resilient child in "Marigold," facing life's obstacles head-on, to the introspective narrative of "Magenta," symbolizing the transformation of thought. "Time" delves into the enigma of time itself, offering a reflective introspection that soothes the soul. And in "Cesar," born during uncertain times, Rosa tenderly portrays the ache of separation. As Rosa Butsi's musical journey continues, her upcoming album "Fruitful Days," set to release on December 1st, promises to be a spring of upliftment through its melodies. A collection of stories that resonate deeply, Rosa's music speaks to the core of human experience, making "Fruitful Days" a must-listen release of the year.
